Know the default destination
For a local workspace file, the converter keeps the result in the same directory and uses the source name with the target format's extension. For example, converting `brief.docx` to PDF creates a PDF beside the brief. The source remains available, so you can compare the output before deciding what to do with either file.
For a URL source, the result is saved under `Agent/<date>/` because there is no workspace source directory beside the remote file. The converter derives a file name from the URL path when possible. If the URL points to a page or a temporary link without a useful name, inspect the returned output path to locate the result.
Choose a path and verify the artifact
Use the conversion tool's `save` option when you want a specific destination or file name. Choose a workspace path that makes the output easy to find and avoids overwriting an important file. The target format determines the output extension; an explicit path should still use a name that describes the converted content.
The conversion result reports the path where it wrote the artifact. Open or read that exact path to confirm the file exists and its contents are usable. For an automated workflow, pass the returned path to the next step instead of assuming a fixed default, especially when the source is a URL or multiple conversions run on different dates.
