One managed storage per account
The account's IaGenify Cloud Object Storage is the managed bucket provided for your account. Attempting to create another managed IaGenify storage returns a storage limit response rather than a second bucket. This is an account-level product limit, not an indication that your existing objects or credentials are broken.
A single managed storage does not mean you can only use one bucket or storage provider in every workflow. IaGenify can connect external R2 or S3 compatible storage where those integrations are supported. Treat a connected external bucket as its own service with separate credentials, permissions, region, and billing.
Choose capacity or an external connection
If the managed storage is running out of room, check its usage and the add-on or plan options available to your account. Removing unneeded objects can also free space, but object deletion is permanent; confirm the key and keep a separate copy before removing data you may need again.
If your application needs separate buckets for environments or teams, an external storage connection may fit better than requesting another IaGenify managed instance. Keep each connection's access scoped to the required bucket and avoid reusing broad credentials. This keeps the storage boundary clear even when several services work with the same files.
