Review the release as a visitor
Open the public URL without relying on a logged-in editor or cached tab. Check the home page, key paths, language variants, navigation, images, and forms that matter to the release.
Confirm that the expected build is live and that the domain resolves to this deployment. If a preview environment has different settings, test the production hostname and its environment-specific behavior rather than extrapolating from preview alone.
Check access, redirects, and recovery
Verify HTTPS, canonical redirects, and that restricted pages or unpublished files are not reachable through public links. Review any environment data or sample content that could accidentally reveal private information.
Keep the previous release or source available according to your deployment process so you can restore a known-good version if a critical issue appears. Record the deployment identifier and the checks performed, then share the canonical URL rather than an editor or temporary preview link.
