# Can I inspect a page's console and network activity with fetch?
Yes. A fetch capture can include browser console errors and the slowest network requests alongside the page content. This helps diagnose why a page is blank, incomplete, or missing assets using evidence from the same page capture.

## What the diagnostics include
The console option reports JavaScript errors observed while the page is captured. These messages can point to a script that failed during startup or an exception that prevented part of the interface from rendering. A console error is a clue to investigate; it does not always explain every visual problem on the page.
The network option surfaces the slowest requests from that capture. A stalled image, stylesheet, or API response can help explain missing content or delayed rendering. Because this is a short diagnostic view rather than a full performance trace, use the request details to identify a suspect resource and then inspect that resource or reproduce the page state.
## Use one capture to compare evidence
Readable page content, a screenshot, console errors, and slow requests can be requested as part of one fetch capture. Comparing them helps answer different questions: whether content exists, how the page looks, whether scripts failed, and whether a resource was unusually slow. This is especially useful when a text-only fetch cannot explain a visual report.
The capture describes the page state it observed at that time and viewport. If a problem appears only after a click, login, or different screen size, reproduce that condition before drawing a conclusion. Avoid treating the diagnostic summary as proof that every browser, route, or later session behaves the same way. [← Back to Tools FAQs](https://help.iagenify.com/faqs/tools)
